_____________________

Violinist Chloe Chua returns to PENTATONE with a complete recording of Mozart’s violin concertos, a project she began at age 15. The album also includes the Rondo in B-flat Major, Rondo in C Major, and the Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat Major, featuring violist Ziyu He—fellow Yehudi Menuhin Competition winner—alongside the Singapore Symphony Orchestra conducted by Hans Graf. With clarity, elegance, and youthful insight, Chua brings fresh interpretations to works Mozart composed around her own age. Her artistry and deep connection to this repertoire reveal a maturity well beyond her years, honoring Mozart’s spirit while making it unmistakably her own.

Born in 2007, Singaporean violinist Chloe Chua rose to global prominence after winning joint 1st Prize at the 2018 Yehudi Menuhin International Competition. She began violin studies at age 4 at NAFA’s School of Young Talents with Yin Ke and has since earned numerous international awards. Chloe has performed across Asia, Europe, and the U.S., and served as Artist-In-Residence with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (2022–24), the youngest ever in that role. Her acclaimed debut album on Pentatone garnered over 2 million streams. She plays a 1753 Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin, generously loaned by the Rin Collection.
