This album explores the enduring appeal of Irish and Scottish music over three centuries from an unprecedented perspective. Experience the very essence of music passed down through oral tradition.

Isao Moriyasu is a Japanese musician and educator specializing in recorder performance, Irish traditional music, and Edo Sato Kagura. A graduate of the Department of Early Music at Toho Gakuen University, he later completed postgraduate studies there and won top honors at the 10th All Japan Recorder Competition. Moriyasu also trained in Japanese flute and drums under Wakayama Taneo and performs with the nationally recognized Edo Sato Kagura Wakayama Troupe. Since the 1990s, he has frequently traveled to Ireland to collaborate with local artists, with his work featured on Irish national television in 2002. He is also an author, translator, concert organizer, and lecturer at Toho Gakuen College of Music.
