Born in Moscow in 1994, Mona Hartmann came to Germany at the age of 20 and studied organ with Prof. Martin Sander (Detmold) and Prof. Martin Schmeding (Leipzig). Mona has won numerous national and international organ competitions, including the St. Albans, the Fugato and the Rheinberger organ competition.

An internationally active concert organist, her concert tours have taken her to the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Westminster Abbey and Southwark Cathedral in London, the Frauenkirche in Dresden, numerous cathedrals (in Bremen, Osnabrück, Paderborn and Hildesheim), Riga Cathedral, St. Thomas Church 5th Avenue New York City (USA) and to numerous other places in Germany, Switzerland, Poland, the Baltic States and Spain.

From 2017 to 2021, Mona Hartmann worked as a church musician in the Bad Driburg pastoral association and from 2021 to 2023 as regional cantor at the St. Johann's Church in Bremen. Since June 2023, she has been working as the church music representative for the Diocese of Linz. She holds a teaching position in organ performance at the University of Church Music in Herford.
