Dazzling as the Queen of the Night, moving in Lucia di Lammermoor and La Somnambule, Natalie Dessay has also left her mark on the roles of Olympia, Manon, Musetta, and Cleopatra on the opera stage. After training at the Atelier Lyrique of the Opéra National de Paris and an international career, Natalie Dessay decided to devote herself to theater, chanson, and recital performances.

Her duo, formed in 2011 with her close collaborator Philippe Cassard, has given one hundred and thirty-five performances worldwide, completely reinventing the vocal recital as a moment of expression, embodiment, and unique sharing.

This is the final album of this legendary duo, celebrating the sixty years of an artist who will remain one of the greatest sopranos of her generation.
