Javier Bonet is a renowned Spanish horn player, acclaimed for his expertise on both the modern and natural horn. Trained in Valencia and later in Germany under Hermann Baumann, Bonet has built a distinguished international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator. He is especially noted for his work with historical instruments and his ensemble Corniloquio. His discography includes acclaimed recordings of Romantic horn concertos, Mozart’s horn concertos, and contemporary works by composers like Colomer and Brotons. A respected pedagogue, Bonet teaches at ESMUC in Barcelona and has given masterclasses worldwide. He has been a principal member of the Orquesta Nacional de España since 1987.
