Daniel Reuss (b. 1961) is a distinguished choral conductor who studied at the Rotterdam Conservatory and founded the Early Music Choir Arnhem at the age of 21. Since 1990 he has served as artistic director of Cappella Amsterdam, guiding the ensemble to a leading position in both early and contemporary repertoire. Reuss has held prominent posts with the RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, and the Ensemble Vocal Lausanne, earning numerous international awards for his recordings. He collaborates widely with European orchestras and choirs and is an influential teacher and masterclass leader in choral conducting.
