Armande de Polignac (1876–1962) was among the notable wave of female composers who emerged in the early 20th century. Having studied with distinguished figures such as Gabriel Fauré and Vincent d’Indy, she was equipped to pursue music at the highest professional level. Her works display both refinement and individuality, from the introspective early Préludes to the richly textured, Russian-influenced Échappées, and the striking sonic realism of Cloches. Together, these compositions highlight her artistic range and originality, affirming her status as one of the most significant French female composers of her era.

Bruno Belthoise is an award-winning pianist, laureate of the Fondation R. Laurent-Vibert and recipient of a Fondation de France prize, who completed advanced studies at the École normale de musique de Paris and was named Adami ‘Révélation Classique’ in 1997. A soloist and founding member of Trio Pangea, he has inspired numerous contemporary works and performs widely at international festivals, with a repertoire spanning Bach to the present day. His discography exceeds 30 albums, including Portuguese Piano Trios for Naxos. A dedicated advocate of French and Portuguese music, he also curates pedagogical editions and presents narrative concerts for young audiences.
