Antony Hermus (b. 1973, Oosterhout, Netherlands) is a distinguished Dutch conductor and educator, serving as Chief Conductor of the Belgian National Orchestra and Artistic Advisor to the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands. Trained in piano and conducting, he regularly leads major Dutch orchestras, holds teaching positions at prominent European institutions, and was made Fellow of the Royal Northern College of Music in 2025. His international career spans opera and symphonic repertoire, with appearances at leading houses and orchestras worldwide. Hermus is also noted for his recordings of Romantic and lesser-known composers, and this season releases a CD with violinist Ning Feng featuring Brahms and Goldmark concertos.
