In June 2026, Métier Records introduces Infrastructure: The Songs of David Sisco, an album celebrating over 25 years of the award-winning US composer’s art songs. Supported by pianist David Fung, the collection features singers Laura Strickling, Elizabeth Mondragon, Michael Kelly, and Sisco himself. To engage modern audiences, the album uniquely pairs historic poetry, like Amy Lowell’s Patterns, with contemporary texts and digital sources, including Craigslist posts and online reviews. Ranging from the witty Italianate to the poignant Missed Connections, Sisco’s diverse musical idioms craft a thought-provoking, humorous, and deeply affecting exploration of human connection and modern life.

David Sisco is an award-winning composer whose acclaimed vocal and theatrical works have been performed at premier venues like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Alumnus of the prestigious BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop and the New Dramatists Composer-Librettist Studio, Sisco has received numerous commissions from choirs and ensembles across the United States. In addition to his creative output, he maintains a distinguished international presence as a voice teacher and pedagogue, and currently serves on the adjunct voice faculty at NYU Steinhardt, shaping the next generation of vocal talent.
