Ludovico Einaudi has released The Summer Portraits Live via Decca, a new live album capturing his 2025 performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The record features live renditions from his 2025 studio album—inspired by Mediterranean villa paintings—alongside celebrated classics like "I Giorni" and "Nuvole Bianche." This release follows Einaudi’s recent sold-out 2026 Solo Piano Tour and arrives just ahead of his major upcoming UK headline performances at London’s O2 Arena on July 10 and 11. The album beautifully reimagines his memory-evoking compositions, offering listeners a fresh, dynamic interpretation of his deeply imaginative repertoire.

Ludovico Einaudi (born 23 November 1955) is an Italian pianist and composer renowned for blending classical foundations with elements of pop, rock, folk, and world music. Trained at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan, he began his career in traditional classical composition before developing a distinctive contemporary style. Einaudi has composed scores for numerous films and television productions, including This Is England, The Intouchables, I’m Still Here, the television series Doctor Zhivago, and Acquario (1996), for which he received the Grolla d’Oro. His music has also featured in the award-winning films Nomadland and The Father. His notable solo albums include I Giorni (2001), Nightbook (2009), In a Time Lapse (2013), and the seven-part project Seven Days Walking (2019).
