When you close your eyes, the light of the setting sun paints the sky red, and vivid scenes from the poems emerge clearly before you. The singing of Tadahiro Sakashita, who expresses landscapes exactly as his heart envisions them, resonate with the dynamic piano of Takashi Obara, bringing the music to life with vibrant color. Throughout the entire work, the pianist's arrangements—always striking at the core of each piece—enhance the experience, projecting the many different facets and lingering impressions of these compositions into the distant realm of nostalgia.

Tadahiro Sakashita is an acclaimed Japanese baritone and educator who graduated from the Toho Gakuen School of Music and the Nikikai Opera Training Institute. Renowned for his versatility across classical and contemporary genres, Sakashita has won prestigious awards, including the Yoshinao Nakata Memorial Competition Grand Prize, and earned critical praise for major operatic roles like Escamillo in Carmen and the title role in Monteverdi's Orfeo. His diverse portfolio includes leading Ami Ozaki’s vocal unit "LaDill," touring as a Disney on Classic soloist, and appearing on prominent NHK broadcasts. A Chanel Japan artist and Nikikai Opera Foundation member, Sakashita currently serves as a tourism ambassador for Asahikawa City.

Takashi Obara is a distinguished Japanese pianist, composer, and arranger who graduated at the top of his class from the Kunitachi College of Music Graduate School. Known for his cross-genre collaborations, Obara has released 54 solo albums and performed over 2,000 concerts nationwide since his 1990 debut. A prominent broadcaster, he has hosted NHK FM's Hikigatari For You since 1999 and appeared on numerous television programs. His accolades include the Kreutzer Prize and the Kawasaki City Cultural Award. Having recently celebrated his 35th career anniversary with a commemorative best-of album, Obara serves as a Shobi College of Music professor and a cultural ambassador for Kawasaki City.
