Fantasia explores the enduring concept of musical fantasy through works by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Liszt, and Alexander Scriabin, tracing its evolution across different musical eras. United by a spirit of freedom and exploration, these works transcend conventional forms, blending improvisatory expression, emotional depth, and structural flexibility. The program highlights fantasy as a vehicle for artistic, philosophical, and personal discovery, allowing intuition and imagination to guide the musical narrative. Chosen for their balance of openness and design, the pieces invite listeners into the composers’ inner worlds while showcasing the piano as a dynamic instrument of creativity. Through this repertoire, the pianist celebrates the pursuit of freedom, individuality, and expression beyond traditional boundaries.
