Yuval Weinberg has served as chief conductor of the SWR Vokalensemble since the 2020/2021 season and will assume the artistic directorship of the Norske Solistkor in 2026. After studying in Tel Aviv, Berlin, and Oslo, he earned prestigious accolades, including prizes at international competitions in St. Petersburg and Wrocław, the Gary Bertini Young Artist Award, and a German Music Council scholarship. Having previously led the Oslo Chamber Choir NOVA, the Norwegian National Youth Choir, and the EuroChoir, Weinberg has established himself as an elite international choral conductor celebrated for his exceptional artistic leadership and stylistic versatility.
