Anna Huuskonen’s Consider the Sea contrasts literary references from Moby-Dick with contemporary concerns about ocean pollution. Markku Klami’s into the deep peace and Jani Sivén’s The Earth does not belong to man explore reverence for nature through texts by John Muir and Native American leaders. Additional works by Finn Shields and Alex Freeman further expand the program’s ecological and emotional scope, combining poetic texts with evocative choral writing to reflect on resilience, environmental fragility, and hope.

Audite Chamber Choir is a Finnish vocal ensemble composed of music professionals, students, and experienced choral singers, known for its stylistic versatility and high-level performance standards. Founded in 1992 by conductor Jani Sivén, the choir has developed a strong artistic profile through both domestic concerts and international touring. Sivén led the ensemble until 2025, after which Tatu Erkkilä became its artistic director. Audite is recognized for its flexible programming and engagement with a wide range of choral repertoire, maintaining an active presence in Finland while also performing regularly on international stages.
