The monumental Piano Sonata in E-flat minor features a demanding, highly expressive three-movement structure delivered with masterful virtuosity by pianist Dominik Wizjan. Polish pianist Dominik Wizjan (b. 1994) began his musical training at age six, later debuting with the Szczecin Philharmonic at seventeen. Following numerous early competition successes and regional honors in Poland, he pursued advanced studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under Amalie Malling and Marianna Shirinyan, earning his Master’s degree with top honors. A laureate of multiple international competitions in Denmark, Italy, and Armenia, Wizjan released a specialized debut album with KNS Classical featuring works by Polish composers, including world premieres by Krzesimir Dębski. He maintains an active international recital career across Europe, focusing primarily on Romantic and 20th-century repertoire.
