Federico Agostini (born 1959) is an internationally acclaimed Italian violinist whose distinguished career spans decades as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator. A former student of Salvatore Accardo and Franco Gulli, Agostini debuted at age 16 and later gained global recognition as the concertmaster of the legendary ensemble I Musici. He has contributed to prominent groups like the Rome Fauré Piano Quintet and the Mito Chamber Orchestra. Highly regarded in academia, Agostini held prestigious professorships at the Trossingen University of Music, Indiana University, and the Eastman School of Music, and currently teaches at top institutions in Japan.
