Based in Ostrava, Czech Republic, the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava is a premier symphony orchestra comprising over 100 top-tier musicians. Originating from a radio ensemble during an era when iconic composers like Leoš Janáček and Igor Stravinsky frequented the city, the orchestra was officially established in 1954 and began touring shortly after.
