On their collaborative album Free Spirits, flautist Noémi Győri and pianist Mónika Ruth Vida present an immersive exploration of French classical repertoire. Featuring compositions by Taffanel, Gaubert, Poulenc, Fauré, Chaminade, Dutilleux, Bonis, and Demersseman, the collection balances intricate intellectual structure and technical brilliance with deep emotional resonance. Hungarian classical flautist Noémi Győri (b. 1983) has established an international career as an acclaimed soloist, orchestral musician, educator, and researcher. Educated at the Liszt Academy, the Vienna University of Music, and the Munich University of Music, she became the first flutist admitted to the doctoral performance program at London’s Royal Academy of Music. A winner of the Alexander & Buono Competition and the European Cultural Prize for Young Artists, Győri made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2011 and has performed in over 28 countries. She serves as principal flute of the Orchester Jakobplatz München, Associate Tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music, and an active recording artist published across major international media labels.

Hungarian pianist Mónika Ruth Vida is an internationally recognized soloist, chamber musician, and educator dedicated to sharing classical music across Europe, Africa, North America, and Asia. Demonstrating early promise, she won her first international competition at age fourteen before debuting at the Shanghai World Expo. Vida earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with top honors from the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, while also studying under Maestro Aquiles Delle Vigne in Portugal. A frequent prize winner in global piano, organ, and chamber competitions, she has received accolades from the Italian Parliament and continues to maintain an active international concert career.
