Through the Round of Seasons marks the final recording project of conductor Brian Lamb, celebrating his distinguished twenty-five-year legacy as Director of Bands at the University of Central Oklahoma. Performed by the UCO Wind Symphony alongside the h2 Quartet and cellist Tess Remy-Schumacher, the album features world premieres by Carter Pann and Chris Prather, as well as Viet Cuong’s Second Nature. Through deeply personal musical narratives, these works explore themes of love, resilience, gratitude, and renewal, reflecting the artistic collaborations and shared experiences that defined Lamb's career. Ultimately, the recording stands as a moving tribute to music's enduring power across every season of life.

Brian Lamb, DMA, concludes a distinguished 25-year tenure as Director of Bands at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). Throughout his career, Dr. Lamb led the UCO Wind Symphony to national and international acclaim, including two landmark performances at Carnegie Hall and multiple selections for CBDNA and OkMEA conventions. A champion of contemporary repertoire, he actively commissioned works from renowned composers and recorded five albums on the Equilibrium label. Dr. Lamb holds degrees from Baylor University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of North Texas, and has built an influential career as an author, educator, and global guest clinician.
