The ten piano sonatas by Alexander Scriabin take the listener on a profound journey through the development of one of the most enigmatic artistic personalities in music history. From his early Romantic influences to the mysticism and abstraction of his later years, these works epitomise Scriabin's transformation from passionate composer to visionary who strove to transcend music itself.
American pianist and fine art photographer of Ukrainian origin Elina Akselrud is the founder and artistic director of a multidisciplinary organization “Intertwining Arts“, as well as the lead artist of all its crossover projects. She is a prize winner of international piano competitions, and has performed in numerous countries in Europe, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Akselrud is currently working on her Doctoral Degree in Artistic Research at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Austria.
