Recognized as one of today’s most exciting lyric tenors, Liparit Avetisyan presents his debut solo album on Delos, featuring a selection of beloved arias he has performed at leading opera houses such as the Royal Opera House, Wiener Staatsoper, and Teatro Colón. Accompanied by the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra under Constantine Orbelian, Avetisyan delivers expressive interpretations of iconic arias by Donizetti, Verdi, Puccini, and Gounod, showcasing his vocal warmth and emotional range. The album concludes with Qamancha, a folk-inspired piece by Sayat-Nova, paying tribute to Avetisyan’s Armenian heritage.

Armenian tenor Liparit Avetisyan (b. 1990), trained at the Moscow and Yerevan conservatories, has performed at major opera houses including the Royal Opera House, Zurich, Berlin, and the Bolshoi Theatre. A member of the Armenian Opera since 2016, he is a recipient of several international awards and holds the title of Honored Artist of Armenia. His repertoire includes key lyric tenor roles such as Alfredo, Rodolfo, and Nemorino. He has recorded with Sony Classical and appeared at major festivals across Europe. In the 2024–2025 season, he sings leading roles in London, Vienna, Munich, Dresden, Treviso, and Rovigo.
