This debut album presents a thoughtfully curated journey across contrasting musical worlds, moving from impressionistic atmosphere to spiritual reflection, romantic introspection, and contemporary energy. Ravel’s La vallée des cloches evokes a hushed, bell-filled soundscape, while Messiaen’s Première communion de la Vierge transforms contemplation into mystical exaltation. Schumann’s F-sharp minor Sonata forms the emotional core, revealing an intimate, fragmented musical language shaped by longing and confession. Carl Vine’s First Sonata concludes the program with rhythmic vitality and physical immediacy. Throughout, Julija Sadaunykaitė unifies these diverse styles through clarity, color, and expressive intensity.
