Jörg Halubek concludes his celebrated Organ Landscapes series with Organ Landscapes X (Leipzig), exploring Germany’s historic organs and culminating at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, where Johann Sebastian Bach once worked. Featuring the grand Sauer organ (1889/1908), Halubek brings its rich tonal palette to life with refined sensitivity and authentic Baroque expressiveness. This final installment of the series showcases both the technical brilliance and interpretive depth of Halubek’s artistry, offering a fitting tribute to Germany’s organ heritage while highlighting the enduring legacy of Bach and the remarkable instruments that shaped his music.
