Rebecca Dale (b. 1985, London) is an acclaimed British composer whose work spans concert music, choral composition, and film scoring. A musical prodigy who composed from childhood, she studied at Oxford University and the National Film & Television School. Dale gained international recognition in 2018 as the first female composer signed to Decca Classics, following the chart success of her choral works. Praised by Classic FM as one of the leading composers of her generation, her music has been performed by major orchestras and ensembles worldwide, including at the Concertgebouw. Alongside her concert career, she composes for film and television projects for studios including HBO, Disney, and the BBC, with recordings made at renowned studios such as Abbey Road Studios.
