Alim Beisembayev appears on the 14th volume of the Next Generation Mozart Soloists, performing two of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s late piano concertos under conductor Howard Griffiths. The program features Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major, K. 488, and Piano Concerto No. 25 in C major, K. 503, composed in 1786 and 1786–1787 respectively, often regarded among Mozart’s most mature orchestral works. Beisembayev highlights their blend of majesty, lyricism, and operatic character, while also emphasizing the music’s inherent purity and simplicity. The recording reflects a stylistic approach that balances interpretative restraint with expressive clarity, aligning with Mozart’s aesthetic of elegance, innocence, and emotional directness.
Alim Beisembayev is an internationally acclaimed pianist born in Kazakhstan in 1998, who began his training in Kazakhstan and Russia before studying at the Purcell School for Young Musicians and later at the Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music, where he completed advanced performance diplomas under Vanessa Latarche.
