Annelies Van Parys (born 1975) is an acclaimed Belgian composer and a professor of composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels. Renowned for her orchestral, chamber, and vocal works, she specializes in opera and musical theater, serving as composer-in-residence at Muziektheater Transparant. Her distinctive artistry has garnered prestigious commissions from world-class institutions, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. Recognized globally, her compositions are regularly performed across major European venues, including the Royal Opera House.
