Alain Trudel is an acclaimed Canadian conductor, composer, and trombonist who serves as the Artistic Director of the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières and the Toledo Symphony. Initially celebrated globally as "the Jascha Heifetz of the trombone," Trudel has built a vast, multi-faceted career spanning classical, jazz, and opera. He has conducted major Canadian orchestras and led high-profile opera premieres, including Another Brick in the Wall. A recipient of the Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros and a multi-JUNO and Emmy nominee, Trudel has been knighted into the National Order of Quebec and boasts a prolific discography of over thirty recordings.
