Ola Gjeilo (born 1978) is a prominent Norwegian composer and pianist based in New York City, recognized globally for his evocative choral and instrumental works. A graduate of the Juilliard School and the Royal College of Music, he has established a distinguished career as a freelance composer, currently serving as composer-in-residence with several major musical organizations.
