Born in 1975, French musician and director of photography Thomas Bangalter is internationally renowned as the cofounder of the legendary electronic duo Daft Punk, whose seminal album Random Access Memories won the 2014 Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Throughout a thirty-year career exploring the complex relationship between humanity and technology, Bangalter has built an extensive collaborative portfolio spanning major film directors, visionaries, and music icons such as Kanye West, Nile Rodgers, and Gaspar Noé. Honored as a Chevalier des Arts et Lettres in 2010, the Paris-based artist continues to shape contemporary music and multimedia arts through his innovative, experimental productions.
