Formed in 2012 following a collaborative festival performance in Ukraine, the Barvinsky Duo is a premier ensemble dedicated to promoting Polish and Ukrainian classical music. Their distinctive recital programming uniquely bridges these two national traditions, placing a specific stylistic emphasis on the masterworks of Fryderyk Chopin and Vasyl Barvinsky. In 2013, the ensemble successfully launched the "On the Way to Europe" concert series across Ukraine. Although their artistic activities were temporarily curtailed following the outbreak of war in 2022, the duo has resumed planning future international concerts, including promotional tours for their latest album.

Taras Mentsinsky is an acclaimed cellist, chamber musician, and Associate Professor of String Instruments at the Lviv National Academy of Music. Educated in Lviv, Kyiv, and Moscow, Mentsinsky is a laureate of prestigious Ukrainian competitions whose international performance career spans solo and festival recitals across Europe. A dedicated champion of cultural exchange, he co-founded the Lviv Trio and the Barvinsky Duo, participating in the prominent Polish-Ukrainian project "On the Way to Europe." Mentsinsky specializes in promoting Ukrainian cello literature, ranging from classical to contemporary masters, earning critical praise for his emotional depth, expressive sonority, and stylistic nuance.

Anna Stempin-Jasnowska is an acclaimed concert pianist, pedagogue, and Professor of Piano at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. A distinguished student of Tatiana Shebanova and Eugen Indjic, she has claimed top honors at numerous international competitions, including multiple Grand Prix awards in 2023. Her extensive repertoire spans the Baroque to the contemporary, highlighted by critically praised world premieres and award-nominated recordings of Paweł Mykietyn and Franz Liszt. A versatile chamber musician in ensembles like the Barvinsky Duo, she performs globally, serves on international juries, and spearheads prominent European festivals and academic initiatives.
