His artistic philosophy was vividly demonstrated during his Christmas concert at Dom Radio, which presented a unified musical language bridging academic tradition and original composition. The diverse program juxtaposed a jazz opus by Keith Jarrett with a Claude Debussy miniature, followed by Mammadov's commentary on Maurice Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé. Highlighting the event was the world premiere of Mammadov’s own Impressionist-inspired piano cycle, concluding with his conceptually convergent piece, The Letter.
