Laura Mazon Franqui is an acclaimed classical and Latin American guitarist recognized for her virtuosity, artistic versatility, and contributions to the modern guitar repertoire. Her career has been distinguished by major honors and endorsements, including sponsorship as an Augustine Strings Artist, alongside recognition from Córdoba Guitars and Guitar Salon International. Recently featured in Marquis Who's Who in America, she has earned international acclaim for her expressive interpretations and technical mastery. Inspired by Leo Brouwer, Laura began performing at a young age and has since appeared at prestigious venues and festivals across the Americas and Europe. Her collaborations include Grammy-winning composers such as Claudia Montero, Carlos Rafael Rivera, and Yalil Guerra. Beyond performance, she is a dedicated educator, mentor, and advocate for women in music, working with organizations including the World Woman Foundation.
