Acclaimed American operatic countertenor John Thomas Holiday Jr. (b. 1985) has established a distinguished career across the world’s premier opera houses and concert halls, including the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall. Renowned for his vocal range, he has starred in major world premieres, classical opera productions, and his cross-genre recital program, The John Holiday Experience. Highly decorated with honors like the Marian Anderson Vocal Award and Sara Tucker Award, Holiday holds degrees from SMU, CCM, and Juilliard, and currently serves as Associate Professor of Voice at the University of Maryland School of Music.
American pianist and vocal coach Kevin J. Miller began his musical trajectory as a boy soprano soloist and accompanist with the Boys Choir of Harlem. He completed his formal education at the Mannes College of Music and the University of Michigan, earning a Master of Music and an Artist Diploma in Collaborative Piano under Martin Katz. A sought-after collaborator, Miller has performed alongside acclaimed vocalists such as Lawrence Brownlee, John Holiday, Nadine Sierra, and Jessye Norman across world-renowned stages like Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and London’s Barbican. He has also coached for the Glimmerglass Festival and completed prestigious apprenticeships nationwide.
