Renowned soprano Laura Catrani is a master interpreter of 20th-century and contemporary vocal repertoire, celebrated for her vocal flexibility and exceptional acting skills. Inspired in early childhood by Renata Tebaldi, Catrani later graduated with honors from Milan’s Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory and the Paolo Grassi acting school. Her distinguished career includes premiering demanding contemporary operas at major venues and launching acclaimed solo performance projects like Vox in Femina and Vox in Bestia. Noted for her stylistic range spanning from Hildegard von Bingen to Luciano Berio, Catrani continues to earn critical praise, most recently for her 2026 album of Strozzi pieces, Virtuosissima Sirena.
