Born in Buenos Aires in 2012, Argentine pianist Matías Iru Cho began his formal piano studies at age eleven under Anahí Selci, appearing in recitals organized alongside Alba Marina Pontoriero. In 2024, he advanced his technical and musical development under the guidance of José Luis Juri while continuing music theory coursework with Selci. Cho further broadened his artistic experience in January 2025 at the International Piano and Chamber Music Encounter (EPI) in Bariloche. There, he performed repertoire by Schubert, Chopin, and Debussy, and refined his craft through masterclasses with distinguished pianists Edith Fischer and Edda María Sangrígoli.
