Performed by violinist Qiao Chen Solomon and pianist Paolo André Gualdi, the album underscores how artistic collaboration transforms individual musical voices into a unified whole. Solomon and Gualdi navigate each piece with fluidity and mutual intuition, bringing out subtle nuances within the repertoire. Internationally acclaimed violinist, violist, and conductor Qiao Chen Solomon has established a dynamic, global career defined by technical refinement and inclusive programming. Since her U.S. debut at Carnegie Hall, she has performed extensively across North America, Europe, and Asia as a soloist and chamber musician. Solomon’s discography, including projects like Unveiled and Women to Women, reflects her dedication to elevating underrepresented voices, featuring works by Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn, Amy Beach, and Black and Chinese composers. Currently serving as Professor of Music and Director of Strings at Agnes Scott College, she seamlessly combines advocacy, education, and performance to broaden the classical canon.

Italian pianist Paolo André Gualdi has established an international career as a performer, recording artist, and pedagogue. Educated at the Conservatorio “Arrigo Boito” in Parma, Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of Georgia, Gualdi has earned top prizes in prestigious competitions, including the Bartók-Kabalevsky International Competition. He has performed as a soloist with major orchestras and appeared at world-renowned venues across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Currently serving as Professor of Music at Francis Marion University and artistic director of the South Carolina Chamber Music Festival, Gualdi regularly conducts global masterclasses, contributing significantly to piano education and performance.
