Denis Comtet (born 1970) is a distinguished French organist, pianist, choral director, and conductor who trained at the Conservatoire de Paris and in Italy. As the titular organist at Saint-François-Xavier in Paris, he has performed internationally at prestigious venues, including Notre-Dame, Carnegie Hall, and Suntory Hall. Beyond his solo instrumental career, Comtet has served as an associate chief and guest conductor for prominent European vocal ensembles—such as Accentus and the RIAS Kammerchor—and has led major symphonic orchestras, opera productions, and contemporary chamber music initiatives, including the Ensemble Intercontemporain and the Ars Terra International Chamber Music Festival.
