Reinhard Goebel is a pioneering baroque violinist, conductor, and scholar who revolutionized early music performance. Founder of the acclaimed ensemble Musica Antiqua Köln, he set new standards with historically informed interpretations, especially of Bach, Telemann, and lesser-known baroque composers. Since 2000, Goebel has brought his meticulous, expressive style to modern orchestras, reviving works by Mozart’s contemporaries and forgotten composers. He continues to champion early music’s spirit through modern ensembles like the Berlin Baroque Soloists. A professor at the Mozarteum Salzburg and artistic director of the New Bach Collegium Leipzig, Goebel remains a vital force in classical music into the 2024/25 season.

German violinist Tobias Feldmann is acclaimed for his lyrical style, emotional depth, and versatility. A prizewinner of major international competitions, he debuted at the BBC Proms in 2024 and has upcoming performances with orchestras including Filharmonia Śląska, Hofer Symphoniker, and the Residentie Orkest. Feldmann is also active in chamber music, collaborating with leading artists and appearing at major festivals and venues like Wiener Konzerthaus and Concertgebouw. His discography features works by Sibelius and Rautavaara. Appointed professor at 26, he now teaches at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig and has guest-led the Berliner Philharmoniker as concertmaster.
