The Kolesnikov-Tsoy duo offer a powerful yet poetic interpretation of these two masterpieces.

Praised for their “electrifying intimacy” (The Guardian), pianists Pavel Kolesnikov and Samson Tsoy have built a distinctive partnership since their student days, known for bold, site-specific performances. Highlights include Messiaen’s Visions de l’Amen in a London car park, innovative stagings at Aldeburgh’s Jubilee Theatre, and gallery performances across Europe. They debuted at Carnegie Hall, De Doelen, and Berlin’s Konzerthaus in 2024, and have appeared at major festivals and venues including Aldeburgh, Muziekgebouw, and the Barbican. In 2019, they co-founded the Ragged Music Festival, blending music with architecture and visual arts, which has since expanded internationally and earned award nominations.
