Soprano Angela Brown’s international operatic rise serendipitously coincided with the release of MOSAIC, introducing the world to her multifaceted voice. The fortuitous musical collaboration of three young artists destined for success — Brown, pianist Joseph Joubert, and guitarist Tyron Cooper — resulted in a mosaic of songs that truly speaks to personal trial, joy, and faith. Angela Brown (born 1963) is an acclaimed American soprano whose multi-genre career spans opera, symphonic music, and outreach. Celebrated globally and featured in major media, she has performed on top stages across six continents. Brown's voice is showcased on the Grammy-winning Ask Your Mama and inspired new works, including roles written for her in Charlie Parker’s Yardbird and Margaret Garner. She recorded A Woman’s Life, a song cycle by Richard Danielpour based on Maya Angelou’s poetry. Brown founded Morning Brown, Inc. to promote music accessibility and co-hosts the award-winning podcast Melanated Moments in Classical Music.
