Valentina Lisitsa (b. 1973, Ukraine) is a pianist renowned for her virtuosic artistry and pioneering use of digital media in classical music. After early success in competitions and a piano duo with her husband Alexei Kuznetsoff, she moved to the U.S. and built a solo career, releasing numerous recordings with Audiofon. Her breakthrough came via YouTube, where her videos—now boasting 300M+ views—launched her onto major international stages, including a landmark 2012 Royal Albert Hall recital. Signed exclusively to DECCA, she has recorded Rachmaninoff’s complete concertos and wide-ranging repertoire. Today she performs worldwide with leading orchestras and at major festivals.
