miré unites three distinctive composer-performers: soprano Héloïse Werner, pianist-organist Kit Downes, and cellist Colin Alexander. In Revelries, their debut EP, the trio dissolve conventional boundaries between voice, organ, and cello, creating a sound world that is playful, intricate, and strikingly original. The programme features new works by the performers alongside text pieces by Jasmin Kent Rodgman and Jonathan Cole, exploring processes of collision, expansion, and transformation. Virtuosic vocal lines, luminous organ textures, and resonant cello sonorities intertwine in a finely balanced musical dialogue.
