From the sweeping lyricism and virtuosity of the Fantasie in C major, Op. 17, to the sparkling character and charm of Carnaval de Vienne, and the imaginative vitality of the Humoreske, Lugansky navigates music that blends passionate expression, irony, and poetic introspection. Together, these masterpieces form a compelling panorama of Schumann’s Romantic imagination, uniting emotional depth with structural brilliance and pianistic refinement.
