This live album showcases pianist Masaya Kamei in a highly anticipated concerto recording, capturing the intensity and spontaneity of his performance. Featuring Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 5 “Egyptian” and Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1, the album highlights Kamei’s virtuosity and expressive range. He is joined by conductor Ken Takaseki and the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, delivering a dynamic and engaging interpretation. Recorded on September 30, 2025, at Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, the release preserves the vivid atmosphere of the live event and was officially issued on March 18, 2026.

Masaya Kamei, born in 2001 in Aichi, Japan, rose to international prominence after winning First Prize, the Journalists Award, and the Audience Award at the Long-Thibaud International Competition in 2022, and later receiving Fifth Prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2025. He completed his Master’s studies at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe and continues advanced training in Germany while also studying at Toho Gakuen School of Music. Kamei has performed with leading orchestras worldwide, including debut appearances with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra and major festival recitals across Europe, establishing himself as a dynamic and internationally recognized concert pianist.
