Violinist Nemanja Radulović presents an album dedicated to the music of Sergei Prokofiev, exploring the composer’s contrasts of light and shadow, irony, lyricism, and virtuosity. The recording features Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2 with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Santtu-Matias Rouvali, alongside the Sonata for Solo Violin, the Sonata for Two Violins with Johan Dalene, and the Five Melodies Op. 35bis with pianist Laure Favre-Kahn. The album also includes violin arrangements from Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, The Love for Three Oranges, and the Classical Symphony. Through these diverse works, Radulović highlights Prokofiev’s expressive depth, blending introspection, dialogue, and theatrical color while revealing the composer’s unique musical voice.

Nemanja Radulović (born 1985 in Serbia) is an internationally acclaimed violinist known for his electrifying virtuosity, expressive depth, and adventurous programming. He studied in Belgrade, at the Hochschule für Musik Saar, the Stauffer Academy with Salvatore Accardo, and the Conservatoire de Paris with Patrice Fontanarosa. Winner of the 2024 OPUS KLASSIK Award for Concerto Recording of the Year, he performs widely with leading orchestras and conductors around the world. Recent and upcoming engagements include appearances with the New York Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonic, and Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Signed to Warner Classics, Radulović has released numerous celebrated recordings and also performs extensively with his ensemble Double Sens, combining solo, chamber, and play-direct performances internationally.
