On Resonant Mythologies, composer Konstantinos Karathanasis creates an imaginative sound world where memory, symbolism, and sonic exploration intersect. The album presents vivid musical narratives across works for fixed media, electronics, and solo instruments, ranging from the playful transformation of everyday life in Ode to Kitchen to the intimate dialogue of Piece for Flute and Electronics. Themes of ritual, landscape, and feminist reinterpretations of myth shape compositions such as Hekate, Trittico Mediterraneo, and Medusa in Somno. The result is a cohesive and evocative body of work, distinguished by refined sonic detail and strong narrative expression.
