Accompanied by the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra under Łukasz Borowicz, Hagner presents Bruch’s Konzertstück and Kol Nidrei alongside Tansman’s Violin Concerto and Cinq Pièces, offering a balance of familiar and lesser-known repertoire. Viviane Hagner, born in Munich in 1977, is a distinguished German violinist known for her international career as both soloist and chamber musician. She grew up in Berlin, where she has also held academic positions, teaching at the Berlin University of the Arts and later at the Mannheim Conservatory. Since her debut at age thirteen with the Israel and Berlin Philharmonics under Zubin Mehta, she has performed with leading orchestras worldwide and collaborated with renowned conductors. Hagner is also a strong advocate for contemporary and lesser-known repertoire, premiering works by prominent composers, while maintaining an active presence in major concert venues and festivals worldwide.
