Chika Inaoka is a Japanese pianist from Kobe, Hyogo, recognized for blending classical musical traditions with contemporary artistic expression. She has gained international attention through diverse performances and recording projects, particularly her critically acclaimed series of Mozart recordings released since 2017 in collaboration with Bechstein Japan and Germany. Inaoka has appeared as a soloist with ensembles such as the Korean Chamber Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Theater Niedersachsen, and has collaborated with members of major orchestras in Japan and Europe. Educated in Japan and Germany, she completed the prestigious Konzert Examen in Mannheim with highest honors. After recovering from acute promyelocytic leukemia diagnosed in 2020, she has returned to performing and was named artist-in-residence by the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis Foundation for 2025.
