Saxophonist Clio Theodoridis and pianist Jonathan Nemtanu present their debut album Nostos, inspired by the ancient Greek concept of homecoming. The program traces a musical and personal journey shaped by cultural movement and identity. Featuring works such as Suite hellénique by Pedro Iturralde and Récit et Lied, Op. 31 by Mathieu Lussier, the album bridges heritage and modernity. Compositions by Fazıl Say and Alexis Ciesla further explore the intersection of Eastern and Western influences, showcasing the expressive versatility of the saxophone–piano duo.

Clio Theodoridis is an Athens-born saxophonist active in Quebec and internationally, with performances across Europe, Asia, and North America at prominent venues and festivals, including the Théâtre du Châtelet and the Aegean Arts Festival. She has participated in major international events such as the World Saxophone Congress SaxOpen and has received distinctions in competitions, including the Stockholm International Music Competition. Recognized for her refined and expressive playing, she holds advanced degrees from the University of Montreal and European institutions. Based in Quebec, she performs with Duo Aster, teaches at the Saguenay Conservatory of Music, and is an ambassador for Henri Selmer Paris.

Jonathan Nemtanu is an internationally active pianist and cultural leader known for his refined musicianship and collaborative artistry. Trained in Europe and Canada, including doctoral studies at the University of Montreal, he combines performance with a strong commitment to arts management, holding a degree from HEC Montréal. He has performed widely as a chamber musician and soloist, collaborating with renowned artists and appearing at major venues such as Radio France. Deeply engaged in education and cultural development, he teaches, serves on juries, and directs initiatives, notably as Executive Director of the Studio de Musique Ancienne de Montréal.
