Carole Dawn Reinhart (born 1941) is an American trumpet soloist and Professor Emeritus at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, widely regarded for her exceptional technical skill, tone quality, and interpretive artistry. In the 1970s, she relocated to Berlin, performing with the Deutsche Oper Berlin while establishing a prominent solo career with symphony and chamber orchestras, averaging around 125 concerts annually alongside television and radio appearances. Her album featuring works by Hindemith, Goedicke, Honegger, Pilss, Bozza, and Barat is part of Deutsche Grammophon’s debut series, highlighting early recordings of artists who later achieved distinguished careers.
